NATURE'S RUNES EXHIBITION

Nature’s Runes is a meditation on the quiet language of Northern nature.
Winter transforms the landscape into a blank page. Against the snow, the delicate lines of dried grasses, branches, seed pods, and stones become visible with remarkable clarity.
What disappears in the abundance of summer quietly reveals itself in winter.
This exhibition grew from years of observing these subtle forms—not as botanical specimens, but as a living language.
Together with my colleague Eric Johnson, I explored the hidden voice of plants. Eric helped translate the subtle vibrations of dried grasses and branches into the language of human feeling, while I responded by translating them into calligraphy and, ultimately, into paper and precious metal.
The works bring together dried plants, calligraphic compositions, jewellery, and sculptural metal panels. Fragility meets permanence; softness meets strength. These contrasts reflect the wisdom of nature itself: metal appears solid yet remains fluid in the hands of the maker, while seemingly lifeless plants quietly protect the seeds of future life.
Through this process, I discovered a deeper connection with nature—and with myself. I believe that when we learn to observe more carefully, nature becomes not only a source of inspiration but also a guide, gently leading us back to our own inner landscape.
I dedicate this exhibition to the quiet beauty of the North and to the healing power of nature.
